I had been very dissatisfied with my progress and the soreness I was feeling for about a month this summer. Wasn't feeling too thirsty and not showing the hallmarks of real dehydration so I didn't think about it much. Just assumed I was in a slump and had to admit I was just getting old. But once I started keeping track I realized I was well below recommended levels and starting upping my intake. Suddenly I started making real progress in all areas. I sometimes forget I am not a gerbil.
